LINUX MINT Vs FEDORA

LINUX MINT Vs FEDORA
This is a comparision between fedora and linux mint.Linux mint is much popular but fedora offers more security.Linux Mint is based on Debian and Ubuntu whereas Fedora is based on Red Hat Linux. Since Red Hat is available as an enterprise edition There is a need of a Red Hat Linux version for the common user. Fedora fills this gap and it is a simple and fast linux distro. Linux Mint has become one of the leading distro in the linux world during the recent years.Packet management is through APT and the packet format is .deb in Linux Mint. It is the same as that in Ubuntu Linux. Feodra uses RPM format for packet management. Both these OSes comes for both 32 bit and 64 bit computers.Fedora uses Gnome 3 and i think you can find the best Gnome 3 experience in Feodra
